At the 2022 LA Auto Show, attendees were treated to the excitement of VW IQ.Trivia, a grand-scale multiplayer game that was available to play and win prizes from multiple times daily. The game, which was presented by a passionate host, was displayed on a towering LED wall and played through personal phones, allowing for interactive participation. The event was a resounding success, offering endless entertainment for all who participated.
Overview
Participants in the booth would scan a QR code displayed on the large LED wall. This will allow them to be seamlessly brought into the game. Once the game begins, players can submit their answers to the multiple choice questions directly from their phone, making it easy and convenient to participate.
Scoring
In this game, players can earn points by answering trivia questions correctly and quickly. The number of points a player can earn for each question decreases over time, starting at 100 points and going down to zero. If the points countdown reaches 50, the game will eliminate one of the incorrect answers, giving players a 50/50 chance of selecting the correct answer. This is known as the "50/50" round.

Back-end Host's Application
The host's tablet is specifically designed for controlling the game and has various features that allow the host to manage the gameplay experience. During the game, the host can use the tablet to adjust the pace of the game, view upcoming questions, and start and end new games as needed. The tablet is connected in real-time to the host's app, as well as to the LED wall and mobile site, which are also being used by the players. This ensures that all components of the game are synced and functioning smoothly, providing a seamless and enjoyable experience for the players.
